Lahoud: Let them start the campaign, but I'm staying in my position to the end

President Emile Lahoud insisted yesterday that he will continue in his presidential role until the end of term. Speaking on his arrival in New York for the UN General Assembly, Lahoud dismissed the campaign in Lebanon for his resignation saying: "I will not be affected by these pressures.
