Guide + Play GPS from Harman Kardon
15th Nov 2006, 07:14 GMT
Harman Kardon, well known for its range of audio products, has developed a GPS system called Guide + Play. This entry adds a new face to the GPS navigation system arena, featuring portable media capabilities that can sort your music and videos based on artist name, genre, album, and other categories automatically. The Harman Kardon Guide + Play ships with a 4" display that is big enough to display both text and video without having you to squint, while the memory can be expanded by slotting in a 4GB SD memory card. A single charge of the internal battery will net you 5 hours of juice, although it is not mentioned whether the 5 hours point toward audio and video playback or just a single type. You can pick up the Guide + Play when it is released in January next year for $500.
