Texas gets $34M for disaster preparedness

The Texas Department of Health has been awarded $34 million by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services to help prepare for major disasters, says Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison, R-TX, a member of the Senate Appropriations Committee.
