Merck Wins New Jersey Vioxx Case

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. - The jury in the second Vioxx (rofecoxib) product-liability trial handed Merck a major victory today by finding the drug maker not liable for a non-fatal heart attack suffered by a Vioxx user in 2001.
