Europe to invest $3 billion in embedded program

Artemis, a major research program part funded by the European Union and featuring Europe’s leading chip and systems companies, aims to spend 2.7 billion euro (about $3.25 billion) in research between 2007 and 2010, it was revealed at the launch event for the project.
