14th Nov 2006, 00:08 GMT
Lanierland Music Park, Cumming's outdoor music venue that's hosted performances by such country greats as George Jones, Randy Travis and the Oak Ridge Boys, has closed after 36 years of operation. "Managing the park was becoming too much," said manager and co-owner Brenda Jones, 66. When singer George "No Show" Jones cancelled the final show of the season last month, it was the final nudge.
