There seems to be a industrial trade association for every product imaginable, including, it seems, the packaging material known as peanuts. You know, those small foam pieces that are used for fill in packaging, and that seem to get everywhere when you open the box. The Plastic Loose Fill Council in Oakland California wants you to know: Over thirty percent of loose fill is reused Loose fill is 99.6 percent air There are collection centers (over 1500) for recycling loose fill Minimum recycled content is 25 percent.
