Though a large section of America agrees that the Roe v. Wade verdict be upheld, yet many believe that there need to be some restrictions on the performance of the procedure. They seem to be in two minds on many aspects of the touchy issue, from agreeing that it should be a woman's choice to terming it as murder. An AP-Ipsos poll only confirms the ''big mushy middle'' that Americans are in, torn between reacting emotionally and rationally on the issue. Yet the South Dakota law could change all that.
