Newspaper error not in your favor, lose a kitten

Filed under: Funny, Gripes, Print In what has to be the "sucks to be you" article of the week last week, a Lawrence, Kansas woman was the recipient of a mistake in a legal advertisement in the local Journal-World newspaper, which led people to her apartment, cleaning out many of the possessions. It seems that the newspaper made a boo-boo, leading to the loss of (of course) most of her electronics stuff, and one person attempted to walk out the door with her kitten! The newspaper says that it has fixed the problem, but financial retribution isn't going to make me feel so happy after having my apartment gone through by strangers.
