MDA takes one for Canada's space future

In the scheme of things, MacDonald Dettwiler and Associates Ltd.'s purchase last week of EMS Technologies Inc.'s small Montreal-based satellite division is a blip on the radar for this $1-billion B.C.-based tech company. Speculation is that the cash portion of the deal will come in at about $20-million (U.S.). (INSIDER Edition subscribers only)
