ATHENS, GREECE (MARKET WIRE) StealthGas Inc. today announced that it has filed a registration statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission for a proposed initial public offering of 7,700,000 shares of its common stock. All of the shares of common stock offered are to be sold by StealthGas. StealthGas also will grant the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,155,000 shares for over-allotment purposes.
