Sony admits PS3 "backwards compatibility" goal not met

Sony has admitted that some games designed for older PlayStation consoles are not working properly on the newly released PlayStation 3 (PS3). The PS3 was supposed to be "backwards compatible", meaning it should run games written for PlayStation and PlayStation 2.
