TSN ratings soar despite NHL lockout Sports channel easily holds position as most-watched specialty TV channel

TSN reported a record audience growth for 2005 yesterday.Despite losing National Hockey League games in the first half of the year, the sports channel's prime-time audience increased by 14 per cent from 2004, for an average of 240,000 viewers.
