U.S. Whites Have Roughly Double Income of Hispanics, Blacks

Americans' median annual income in 2005 rose to $29,025 for whites, roughly double that of Hispanics and African-Americans, according to a new report from the Census Bureau released Tuesday. Last year the median per capita income, the middle point between the greatest and smallest income, was $14,461 for Hispanics and $16,675 for African-Americans, the Census Bureau said....
