Dominik Hasek made 23 saves and three different Ottawa players scored, as the Senators defeated the Washington Capitals, 3-1, at the MCI Center. Chris Phillips and Patrick Eaves both scored for the Senators, who won for the fifth time in their last six games. Peter Schaefer added an empty-net tally for Ottawa.
