InterContinental profit triples on asset sales, rate increases

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- InterContinental Hotels Group on Tuesday reported its third-quarter net profit more than tripled, thanks to a gain from selling assets as well as rate increases in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
