OPEC increases forecast of world oil demand

The oil exporters' group OPEC on Wednesday increased its forecasts for world oil demand this year and said its recent production cut had succeeded in stabilizing prices. The forecast and comments by the organization, contained in its monthly report, came amid speculation about whether the 11-member group would further.
