United States: Retail Sales (MARTS)

Total retail sales fell 0.2% in October, below Septembers downwardly revised 0.8% decline. Auto sales rose despite the decline in unit auto sales. Non-auto sales fell 0.4%. Gas station sales tumbled again and accounted for the decline in sales. Year-over-year growth fell to 4.5% in total and 3.1% excluding autos.
