Iraqis in U.S. travel far to vote, hoping for an end to bloodshed

POMONA, Calif. — Forming car caravans and in some cases driving through the night, Iraqis turned out to cast ballots at U.S. polling places Tuesday, hoping this week's historic parliamentary election will bring a peaceful future to their homeland.
