Letter to the editor: Track a good neighbor
13th Nov 2006, 18:41 GMT
Editor: Contrary to what has been written, Altamont Motorsports Park has been a good neighbor. They have been working with competitors to lower the noise level of their race cars, cleaning the roadside after every race and most of the trash is not from the attendees at the park. This was not done by the previous owners. The last event was the week-end before Halloween and the trash is building up. They respond to vehicles stuck in the mud and these may not even be race fans.
