Game Charters Needed
15th Nov 2006, 03:13 GMT
Now that we’re at the midpoint of the season, and back to a full slate of games each week, we’re putting out another call for game charting volunteers. The more charters we have, the quicker we can turn around the data and use it during the season — and the fewer people who have to cover a full game instead of just one half. Our problem right now isn’t number of charters, but geographical diversity — lots of people in Chicago but nobody in Phoenix, that sort of thing. So we’re really looking for people who a) have access to every game on Sunday Ticket or b) live in a smaller market. We’ve streamlined things so it takes about an hour to do one half. If you join the charting project, you’ll get access to all the charting data once it is complete, as well a complex database of DVOA splits we’re working on. You’ll also get to contribute your thoughts to PFP 2007. If you are interested, please e-mail Bill Moore at charting-at-footballoutsiders.com.
