M&B, Punch eye joint Spirit bid -paper

LONDON (Reuters) - Pub groups Mitchells & Butlers MAB.L and Punch Taverns PUB.L are considering a joint 2.5 billion pound bid for rival operator Spirit, the Sunday Times newspaper reported.
