The makers Celestial Seasonings tea have joined The Heart Truth campaign to get more attention for heart disease. Heart disease it the #1 killer of women, and most women love to drink tea, therefore I this as a very fitting combination. I have been very fond of Celestial Seasonings tea and am now encouraged to buy their products as a first choice. Tea has beneficial phytonutrients as well as antioxidants which are important factors in a heart healthy diet. Over the holiday season I have been fortunate to be with my distant family. My grandmother is dying of cardiomyopathy, a common heart disease. This blog and the information in it are the least I can do to contribute to The Heart Truth campaign.
