Another Boeing 737 goes down, this time in Peru costing 41 lives

Yet another of the popular Boeing 737s, crashed with 98 on board, this time into the swampy Amazonian jungle northwest of Peru’s capital Lima 11 days after the Helios airline crash near Athens. The state-operated Tans Boeing 737-200 went down after hitting an air pocket during a storm to become the second Boeing crash in the continent in ten days, but this time leaving 57 survivors, many of them literally walking out of the flaming wreckage.
