Will alternative energy survive with a lessening of public R&D money? That is a question reflected in the adjusted for inflation figures, as public funding has dropped severely n the past few years, although the monetary units figures have risen. Is the industry now mature enough, and is there enough drive to keep it going, or will lessening of oil prices knock out a lot of the interest like it did in the 80s and 90s after the oil shock prices of the 70s went back down?
