Attacks against Lahoud intensify after remarks on detentions

Attacks against President Emile Lahoud intensified yesterday following remarks he made concerning the detention of the four security chiefs charged with former Premier Rafik Hariri's assassination. However, the country's major political forces still say they will wait for the investigation into Hariri's killing to end before addressing the question of Lahoud's presidency.
