Ryanair profit rises 17% on higher fares, traffic

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Ryanair Holdings PLC, Europe's largest low-cost airline, on Monday said second-quarter net profit grew 17% on higher traffic and fares, but its shares came under pressure after the airline said ticket prices would fall in the fourth quarter.
