New chief, new prospects for Microsoft Canada
15th Dec 2005, 14:59 GMT
The new person stepping in at the helm of Microsoft Canada in the beginning of 2006 would be a good fit to lead the Canadian office towards strengthening relationships with channel partners, according to an industry analyst. Over the last year, Microsoft has been "making a lot of noise" on putting more resources into its partnership programs, said Carmi Levy, senior research analyst at technology research firm Info-Tech Research in London, Ont. Given his track record, the new Canadian chief would be competent in enforcing that.
