President confirms he will attend UN summit

President Emile Lahoud has confirmed that he will lead the Lebanese delegation to the United Nations' 60th General Assembly in New York, effectively guaranteeing that Premier Fouad Siniora will not attend the summit. An official statement from the president's office confirmed the plans, saying that Lahoud "is getting all the necessary.
