First Data to Expand Payment Services in China

E-commerce and payment service supplier First Data International said that it may hammer out new business products for China's payment market within one year. This was disclosed by Li Lizu, president of First Data International in north Asia, who said that the payment business will cover card issuance, bill collection and conversion. At present, payment giants like UnionPay, Visa and Mastercard mainly focus on conversion business, while First Data International can provide card issuance, bill collection, and various outsourcing services.
