Matsutake Season Draws Hundreds to the Forest

The commercial matsutake mushroom picking season opened Monday in Oregon's Deschutes, Fremont-Winema, Umpqua, and Willamette National Forests. The harvest has grown into quite an event, with hundreds of pickers gathering from all over the world.
