WTO talks nearing collapse

World trade talks are on the brink of collapse with Europe refusing to move on key demands from Australia and other largescale farm product exporters to slash its export subsidies.After marathon talks that finished at 5am local time, negotiators believed that in some key areas they were going backwards because of the entrenched position of Europe.
