Thai police detain dozens near govt compound after mob storms PMs office

BANGKOK, Thailand - Thai police on Saturday detained about 50 protesters outside Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatras office after protestors overnight stormed and briefly held the compound, calling for the leader to step down, witnesses said.
