Taiwan IPC maker ICP Electronics to expand production capacity in China

ICP Electronics, a leading Taiwan-based maker of industrial PCs (IPCs), plans to invest NT$300 million to expand production capacity at its factory in Shanghai in the first quarter of 2008 from seven production lines with an annual capacity of 450,000 boards and cards to 24 lines with a capacity of 2.15 million units, according to company CEO Teddy Kuo at an institutional conference on November 13.
