Dems, GOP Spar on Timetable for Iraq

WASHINGTON -- The White House agrees that a new strategy in Iraq is needed but said a timetable for U.S. troop withdrawal would be disastrous for the Iraqi people. U.S. Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., in line to be Senate Armed Services Committee chairman, said the elections demonstrated that voters want a policy change for Iraq, CNN said....
