Lawyers agree judge should have better explained Ressam's sentence

Federal appeals court judges considering the case of Ahmed Ressam said Monday that the judge who sentenced him to 22 years for planning to bomb Los Angeles International Airport "didn't explain himself," and they indicated that they might send the case back to have him spell out his rationale.
