Pope reaffirms mandatory celibacy for priests

The Vatican reaffirmed celibacy for clergy during a summit on married priests that Pope Benedict presided over on Thursday. In Canada, where an estimated 4,000 people have left the priesthood to marry, the decision was watched closely.
