$2,000 Katrina grants for New Orleans physiology students, post-docs offered through APS

The American Physiological Society is making $2,000 grants available to New Orleans physiology graduate students and post-doctoral fellows affected by Hurricane Katrina, which disrupted physiology courses at Tulane, LSU, Xavier and Loyola Universities. APS has over 100 members in New Orleans. APS pledged $50,000 and is asking members and the public to donate online at: http://www.the-aps.org/katrina.htm. The APS Katrina Bulletin Board has academic assistance offers for physiology students and faculty from over 40 universities.
