Saudi GDP in 2005 grows 6.5%

Saudi Arabia's GDP grew by 6.5% and there was a budget surplus of $58.1bn in 2005, according to the Saudi Arabian Monetary Agency, cited by Gulf News. GDP grew by 5.3% in 2004. The balance of payment surplus in current accounts rose to $133.47bn. [AMEInfo.com]
