Advocates Urge Seniors to Compare Plans When Re-Enrolling for Medicare Prescription Drug Plan

Enrollment for the 2007 Medicare prescription drug program begins today. The program got off to a rocky start earlier this year with billing mix-ups, jammed websites and overloaded telephone lines, not to mention the confusion of having to choose between a vast array of different insurance plans. Some seniors might be tempted to stick with the plan they already have, but advocates in Northeast Ohio warn they could lose out unless they do a little comparison shopping. WKSU's Karen Schaefer reports.
