13th Nov 2006, 22:02 GMT

In a major boost for the world's number two maker of mobile handsets, Motorola said Monday it landed a deal worth $1.6 billion to sell mobile phones in the Chinese market. Motorola said it would supply handsets to China Telling Communications, which is based in Shenzhen.
