30 ways to discover there's more green space out there than you think. Just search your area on the websites of the Woodland Trust, National Trust, Forestry Commission, Waterways Trust, and your county's wildlife trust, and you'll soon see. Better still, get a large-scale Ordnance Survey map and find places to explore using those skills learnt at school, Scouts or Guides that you thought you'd forgotten. And don't forget - the most interesting bits are beyond the car park.
