Lebanon's competitive political process needs a referee

With all of the high hopes and expectations that have been placed on the outcome of Lebanon's national dialogue, which has been hailed as the country's last chance to avoid a crisis, the talks are bound to produce a few disappointments and unexpected developments as they proceed. Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri, who convened the sessions, aired some of his frustrations about the talks during an interview with As-Safir newspaper.
