Nationwide Mountain Climbing Event to Help Fight Cancer

The Climb For Cancer Foundation announces, "50-50-1," a nationwide mountain climbing event to raise money to help fight cancer. On June 24, 2006, volunteer teams in each of the 50 states will climb the highest peak in their home state at the same time. Each team will raise $5,000 to help fund cancer research and patient support services. "50-50-1" stands for, 50 States, 50 Peaks, One Goal.
