National Book Awards. There are four panels of five judges each for Fiction, Nonfiction, Poetry, and Young People's Literature, each including a Chairperson, chosen by the National Book Foundation. eBooks are not considered as a separate category; they are considered within the four existing Award categories. Judging will be based on literary merit only. 2006 Finalists are below
