Blue Jackets fire Gerard Gallant

The Columbus Blue Jackets have fired head coach Gerard Gallant. Sources tell TSN it is expected that assistant coach Gary Agnew will be named interim head coach, but that a search for a full time head coach will commence immediately. The Blue Jackets are off to a 5-9-1 start this season, Gallant's third season as head coach.
