Cephalon seeking approval for new cancer pain drug

Cephalon of Frazer, Pa., said that it filed a new drug application for a drug that would help cancer patients get fast relief for breakthrough pain, a temporary but often excruciating burst of pain that breaks through the comfort provided by medication.
