Carpetbagger blasts Borat--in third person
14th Nov 2006, 22:42 GMT
David Carr of the Times takes Borat out to the sidewalk in his Carpetbagger blog, and delivers a pummeling. He makes good points, but refers to himself repeatedly as "the bagger," assiduously avoiding the first person singular. Gets a little tiresome. One line I especially appreciated in Carr's bio on the blog: Carr has written dozens of stories about film for the Times and once quoted director Don Roos as saying he liked "porn" films when he actually said "foreign" films.
