Flower Alley tops $1 million Travers field

Flower Alley sprinted to a 2 1/2-length win Saturday over Bellamy Road in the $1 million Travers Stakes. Trained by Todd Pletcher, Flower Alley became the just the sixth horse ever to follow a Jim Dandy win with a victory in the the oldest stakes race for 3-year-olds in the country.
