(Reuters) - A general view of the Hotel Gelalo in the remote village of Gelalo, located east of Eritrea's capital Asmara, August 11, 2005. Hotel Gelalo sits mostly empty in the middle of a field of boulders close to the rough track that links Eritrea's two main ports of Assab and Massawa, promising tired, dusty tourists a warm welcome in one of Africa's hottest corners. Eritrea receives about 150,000 tourists a year, and it wants to boost that to more than 600,000 before 2020. Tourism Minister Amina Nurhussien says Hotel Gelalo is just the first step.
